Sunset Soirée

Fri. 6.30 | Alamanda Chapel

Reef Feast Palm Cove 2017 will see two of Cairns most favourite and accomplished Classical Acts perform in the stunning beachfront Alamanda Chapel.

Enjoy a feast of enchanting Opera Arias and Duets by Mozart, Handel, Purcell, Dvorak, Delibes performed by local classical vocalists Louise Sadler – Soprano and Emily Hapea – Mezzo Soprano.

Each Sunset Soirée is 45mins and tickets $12 to be purchased on the night, including glass of prosecco on arrival. Eftpos available.

Guilt Free Comedy is the home of stand-up comedy in Far North Queensland.  It’s all about building a thriving comedy scene in Cairns and Far North Queensland and that’s why we put together the Guilt Free Comedy Tent for Reef Feast.  Laugh hard with a killer bunch of regular comics plus space for first timers to show you what they can do.

Jusfa Kicks are rocking the Surf Club Stage again this year with all your rock classics with supporting acts including ‘Portamento Belle’.   Portamento Belle offers listeners a harmonic reggae vibe that will either have you blissed out enjoying a cocktail or grooving on the dance floor” .

Victoria’s Secrets

If you like fine jazz from The American Songbook then look no further!  Victoria Boxhall is certain to entertain with her effortless smooth jazz vocals.

Supported by some of Cairns finest jazz artists, Harry Rivers, Bernard Lee Long, Naoki Inamoto and visiting artist, Ric Halstead from Sunshine Coast, your toes will be tapping for sure!


Outdoor Cinema

Moana

The lawn area, jetty end of Williams Esplanade will become an outdoor cinema from 6pm for the viewing of Moana

Live acoustic music and local short films will be previewed before the feature film from 7pm.  Bring blankets and chairs.

There will be local food Stalls and vendors in abundance for you to choose from along Williams Esplanade.

The Montgomery Brothers

The Montgomery Brothers are huge favourites of Reef Feast Palm Cove and are the headline act playing 7pm to 10pm.

This extraordinary talented band are fresh from a tour of USA. Playing shows for their sponsors KoAloha Ukuleles in Hawaii, a show with Tommy Emmanuel in Mesa, Arizona and a lengthly tour of America’s West Coast.   They are beaming from the tour and ready to throw everything they have on their ‘The Blues Will Never Die’ tour of Australias East Coast, with their NEW ALBUM ‘Ode To Johno.’ Straight after this show the boys are off on Tour to Thailand, Korea and Japan.

Residing in Cairns in FNQ, The Montgomery Brothers are something very special. Led by Ukulele & Guitar virtuoso, 20 year old Ryo Montgomery accompanied by this bunch of school kids….yes, school kids play with a maturity that is usually associated with artists who have decades of experience.

This will simply leave you breathless… a must see.


Dreamstate Circus

The North Project

You are invited to experience music, born out of passion and shaped by the love of a lifetime of dedication, for an art form that is truly astounding.  The North Project, a collective of the finest musicians in North Queensland, with years of experience in live performance.

The North Project, have a fresh approach to performances, with an extremely varied and colourful repertoire.  Their aim is to further develop the concepts of creative music, to promote the art of improvisation and share our experiences with other musicians and listening audiences, young and old.

The North Project Trio, Wayne McIntosh, Guitar. Tommy See Poy, Keyboards. Joe Vizzone, Drums.   Joining The North Project will be local songstress and entertainer, Nikki Doll.


Melanfunk Collective

Melanfunk Collective return to Reef Feast Palm Cove 2017 by popular demand. This colourful, Melanesian funk band directed by Ben Hakalitz entertain any crowd like no other with their creative rhythms and music.


Dreamstate Circus

Sun. 9.30am,  11am Workshop
